Women’s Health Resource Centre provides a Well Women’s Program which offers women advice, information, support and screening on a range of women’s health issues.
These services include:
- Pap smear tests
- STI checks
- Pregnancy tests
- Breast health examination and education
- Contraception information
- Continence and menopause advice
- Sexuality advice
- Other women’s health issues
This service is run free of charge. The program is run by two Pap smear nurses in a comfortable, women friendly environment.
The Pap smear clinic is held on Mondays every fortnight and appointments are required. For other appointment times, the Nurse Educator is available Tuesday to Thursday 930am to 230pm.
Women with disabilities are accommodated and translating and interpreting services are available for non-English speaking women (please request at booking).
